OnSite Express test for the detection of bacterial antigens Helicobacter pylori is an immunochromatographic analysis, designed for qualitative diagnosis of antigens of the bacterium Helicobacter pylori on the basis of human photographic samples. It is intended for use by specialists in screening tests and as an auxiliary agent for the diagnosis of Helicobacter pylori infection. LIST OF DESCRIPTION AND EXPLANATION OF THE EFFECT OF THE TEST
Bacterium Helicobacter pylori is associated with various gastrointestinal diseases, including non-ulcerative dyspepsia, ulcers of the stomach and duodenum, as well as active, chronic gastritis. Probability of distribution of helicobacteric infection in patients with signs and symptoms of gastrointestinal diseases may exceed 90%. Recent studies indicate a connection between Helicobacter pylori infection and gastric cancer.
Helicobacter pylori can be transmitted through a meal or water that is infected with faeces. It has been found that antibiotics in combination with bismuth compounds are effective in treating the active infection of Helicobacter pylori.
Today, Helicobacter pylori infection is diagnosed with invasive endoscopy and biopsy (ie, histological, cultivation) or non-invasive testing methods such as urease breathing test (UDT), antibody serum tests, and fecal antigens. UDT requires high-value laboratory equipment and the use of a radioactive reagent. Serological antibody tests do not show the differences between active infections and infections that were in the past or the infections that have been cured. An analysis of feces on an antigen reveals an antigen present in feces, which indicates an active infection of Helicobacter pylori. It can also be used to control the effectiveness of treatment and relapse of infection.
In order to accurately detect the presence of anti-Helicobacter pylori in fecal specimens of an infected person, the OnSite Express-Test for Helicobacter Pylori uses colloidal gold coupled with monoclonal antibodies anti-chalcopythera pylori and other monoclonal antibodies anti-Helikobacter pylori. The test is very user-friendly, accurate, and the result is already available within 15 minutes.
PRINCIPLE OF TESTING
OnSite Express test for the detection of antigens of the bacterium Helicobacter pylori is a double immunochromatographic analysis (sandwich method). The test strip consists of: 1) pads for a bard conjugate containing monoclonal antibodies Helicobacter pylori combined with colloidal gold (conjugates anti-Helicobacter pylori) and 2) a nitrocellulose membrane strip containing a test line (strip T) and control line (strip C). Stripe T is pre-coated with monoclonal anti-Helicobacter pylori antibodies, a lace Tumbled by antiseptic IgG antibodies.
When a sufficient amount of the faecal sample obtained is placed in the well of the test cassette for samples, the sample, under the action of capillary forces, moves through the cassette. The anti-Helicobacter pylori antigens that are present in the sample are combined with anti-Helicobacter pylori conjugates. The immunocomplex is then captured on a membrane previously coated with antibodies to form a T marker strip indicating a positive test result for Helicobacter pylori. The absence of the T strip implies that the concentration of anti-Helicobacter pylori in the sample is below the level of infection, indicating a negative result of the Helicobacter test.
The test contains an internal control (strip C) that should display the bard color of the immune-competing goat anti-mouse IgG antibodies / murine IgG conjugates of colloidal gold, regardless of the color of the T strip. If the strip C does not appear, the test result is invalid, and the sample must be checked by another device.
