Agar® Cattle Serum for Bacteriological Nutrient Media

Agar® Cattle Serum for Bacteriological Nutrient Media is filtered by triple filtration through a series of sterile membranes (filters) with a pore size of up to 0.1 microns. Agar® Cattle Serum for Bacteriological Nutrient Media is a blood component that can be obtained after coagulation and removal of cellular components. In addition to whey proteins, it contains growth factors, amino acids and hormones. Such a complex composition makes serum one of the most important additives that support the growth and reproduction of cells in in vitro cell culture.

PURPOSE

Enrichment of bacteriological nutrient media, cell cultivation, including for research purposes for cell cultivation in biochemical laboratories and biotechnological production. Not intended for human and veterinary medicine.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

According to the instructions for the nutrient medium used for culturing microorganisms (corynebacteria, streptococci, etc.). Serum is added to nutrient media in an amount of 10% of the medium volume.

BASIC EQUIPMENT

50 ml, 100 ml, 500 ml, 1000 ml, in a PETG bottle (bottles). The reagent package can be changed by the manufacturer in accordance with the customer's needs.

STORAGE AND TRANSPORTATION

Storage

In the manufacturer's packaging in a dry, dark place at a temperature of -25 to -15 ° C.

Transportation

At a temperature of -25 ° C to -15 ° C, transportation is allowed in frozen form in thermal containers, observing the cold chain.

SHELF LIFE

Shelf life is 5 years. Reagent with an expired shelf life is not subject to use. Disposal in accordance with established rules.

When filing a complaint about the non-compliance of the physical and specific characteristics of the reagent kit with those declared by the manufacturer, in order to conduct an objective investigation of the reasons for the non-compliance, the consumer must provide:

a reagent kit of the series for which the complaint is filed;

analysis protocols indicating the name, series and expiration dates of the reagent kit used;
