Laboratory water bath VB-20 mikromed - a liquid or laboratory water thermostat is designed to heat and temperature-control the contents during analyzes and studies requiring a constant temperature. VB-20 for 4 landing sockets and a 20 liter thermostat for flasks, glasses and test tubes is used in various research, veterinary, diagnostic and industrial laboratories.

The principle of operation is based on the transfer of thermal energy from the heater to the water in the working chamber of the bath, and subsequently to the installed laboratory glassware with a thermostatically controlled liquid.
The BV-20 laboratory water bath consists of:

  1. Outer casing.
  2. Work chamber made of polished stainless steel.
  3. Microprocessor control unit.
  4. Digital temperature sensor.
  5. Heating element
  6. Mixing element.
  7. Lids.
The outer casing is separated from the working chamber by an insulator. The design of the housing provides a comfortable and safe temperature of the external parts. The tubular blower element, in the lower part of the working chamber, is protected from mechanical damage by an additional protective cover.
The laboratory water bath VB-20 is equipped with a top cover with a set of concentric rings. A cover with concentric rings is used when placing flasks, glasses and other utensils in the bathhouse that protrude beyond the upper dimension of the working chamber. The use of the lid reduces energy consumption and accelerates the time of heating water and stabilizing the operating temperature.
A magnetic stirrer is built into the bottom of the working chamber of the liquid thermostat. Due to the rotation of the magnetic field, the mixing magnetic rod rotates inside the chamber, creating forced convection of water, which ensures the stability of the working temperature.
On the front panel of the laboratory bath are a power switch and a microprocessor control unit. The temperature is set on the touch panel with an accuracy of 0.1 ° C.
The microprocessor control unit controls the operation of the heating elements of the water thermostat, turning it on and off to achieve and stabilize the set temperature. The temperature inside the camera is controlled by a digital built-in thermometer with a resolution of 0.1 ° C.
The digital indicator displays the actual and set temperature, the operating mode of the heating elements.
Microprocessor control unit timer function. The presence of a timer simplifies the operation of the device and significantly reduces the consumption of electrical energy.
