Fraser additive (MS130)

Purpose: for selective isolation of Listeria monocytogenes from food, animal feed and other material.

Storage:

Each vial contains

Ammonium citrate of iron 250.00 mg

Preparation:

1. One bottle is designed for 500 ml of medium.

2. Aseptically dilute the contents of one bottle of additive 1-2 ml sterile distilled water.

3. Mix thoroughly. For initial enrichment, aseptically add 2 vials of up to 1000 ml of sterile, cooled (45-50 ° C) basis of the Fraser broth DM1292 together with the rehydrated contents of 1 vial of the selective additive Fraser MS131I; or add 1 vial of MS130 to 500 ml of medium together with rehydrated contents of 1 bottle of MS131I Frazier selective additive for secondary enrichment.

4. Mix thoroughly and flush as necessary.

Storage:

Store at a temperature of 10-30 ° C. Use until the date indicated on the label.
