PURPOSE

The kit is used for the qualitative and semi-quantitative determination of antibodies to somatic antigens of Brucella (Brucella abortus, Brucella melitensis, Brucella suis) in human serum.

Set Composition

Reagent 1.9 - Brucella reagent - a suspension of dead and stained brucella; a homogeneous suspension of violet color, during storage, is divided into a precipitate of violet color, easily broken when shaken, and colorless, transparent or slightly opalescent supernatant of 4 bottles (5.0 ml each).

Agglutination is evaluated by a four-cross system:

100% agglutination (4 crosses) - in all doses of serum - the result is “sharply positive”;

75% - (3 crosses) - in the second and third doses (0.02-0.01 ml of serum) - the result is "positive";

50% - (2 crosses) - in the second and third doses (0.02-0.01 ml of serum) - the result is "positive";

25% - (1 cross) - (0.04 ml of serum) - the result is “doubtful”;

0 - lack of agglutination - the result is "negative".

SHELF LIFE. STORAGE AND USE CONDITIONS

The shelf life of the kit is 2 years. An expired kit is not applicable.
