Agar®KBD supplement sheep blood defibrinated for bacteriological nutrient media

The reagent is sheep blood, taken sterilely, defibrinated filtered through a sterile three-layer gauze filter. Opaque liquid of bright red color, which separates upon standing into a loose bright red precipitate and a transparent yellowish-pink supernatant liquid.

PURPOSE

Enrichment of bacteriological nutrient media for cultivation and determination of hemolytic activity of streptococci.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Under aseptic conditions, open the vial with the reagent. Collect the reagent with a sterile pipette and add to the nutrient medium according to its instructions.

BASIC PACKAGE

10 ml, 20 ml, 30 ml, 40 ml, 50 ml, 100 ml, 150 ml, 200 ml, 250 ml, 300 ml, 350 ml, 400 ml, 450 ml, 500 ml, 1000 ml, in glass vials (bottles), sealed with rubber stoppers and rolled metal caps. The vial (bottle) with instructions for use is placed in a cardboard box or in a plastic film bag. The reagent package may be changed by the manufacturer in accordance with the customer's needs.

STORAGE AND TRANSPORTATION

In the manufacturer's packaging in a dry, dark place at a temperature of 2 ° C to 8 ° C, freezing is not allowed.

At a temperature of 2 ° C to 8 ° C, freezing is not allowed. Transportation is allowed at a temperature of 9 ° C to 25 ° C for 24 hours with observance of the cold chain.

SHELF LIFE

The shelf life of the reagent is 30 days. The reagent with an expired shelf life is not subject to use. Dispose of according to established rules.
